Just Basements has been providing quality residential design and renovation services in Ottawa for over 20 years. We feel it is important to be a contributing member of the design and renovation industry at a local level, as well as provincial, national and international level. We believe in the value of continuous improvement through continuing education, mentoring and contribution. ARTium Design Build is an active and proud member of the following organizations.
Canadian Home Builders Association
Just Basements as well as our "upstairs" division ARTium Design Build are proud to be a members in good standing with the CHBA. The CHBA supports renovators and design-build firms through it's RenoMark Program, "Get It In Writing" Campaign and a variety of continuing education services. We are honoured to have been twice selected as a Finalist in the CHBA National Award for Housing Excellence.
Ontario Home Builders Association
Just Basements is a contributing member of the Ontario Association of Home Builders with our President being a past member of the OHBA Renovators Council. The OHBA plays and important role in the Ontario renovation industry with a mandate to represent both renovators and their customer homeowners. The OHBA represents over 4000 member builders and renovators.
Greater Ottawa Home Builders Association
Just Basements is a strong, supporting member of the Ontario Association of Home Builders with our President being a past Chair of the GOHBA Renovators Council and GOHBA Board of Directors. Locally the GOHBA contribute to the support, education and credibility of the Ottawa renovation industry. GOHBA represents more than 70 member renovation, design-build, residential trade and associate members.
RenoMark
RenoMark® symbol identifies those renovation companies who have agreed to the GOHBA Code of Ethics as well as a renovation-specific Code of Conduct. RenoMark® renovators are professional contractors and design-build firms who provide warranties, who understand the value of customer service during and following projects, and who have access to information on current trends, the latest materials and new regulations. National Kitchen and Bath Association
National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is an international non-profit network of kitchen and bath professionals. The Ottawa Chapter connects the area’s leading designers, manufacturers, installers, distributors and retailers. NKBA-Ottawa works to bring a general awareness of what the Kitchen and Bath industry can contribute to consumers and to local industry members. We also foster continuous renewal of the industry by mentoring students of Algonquin College’s Kitchen and Bath Graduate Certificate Program, and funding Achievement Awards for selected graduates.
