The Wellness Zone
In the Kanata Area, we had the incredible opportunity to design the optimal wellness space for two wonderful homeowners. This comprehensive space is equipped with; a sauna, cold plunge, a fully-equipped gym, bathroom, and laundry room.
The Before...
Having an unfinished basement as a blank space to start is always a treat.
The Plans
This basement encompasses the perfect space for a wellness zone. Working some natural light into the gym, the rest of rooms circle the perimeter of the basement to provide great flow in this wellness zone.
The Cold Plunge
Blending physical training with serene tranquility, this zone was intentionally designed to be the ultimate sanctuary for health and well-being for many years to come.
The tranquil vibe comes from natural touches like wood details, rich olive greens, and marble-look tile floors, creating a calm space that’s perfect for relaxation.
The Gym
With some natural light, the planning of the additional lighting was of utmost importance. This gym is spacious and inspiring with the end goal of the cold plunge and sauna literly in signt!
The Bathroom
The custom shower and ceiling detail provide the little extra into this highly functional bathroom.
The Laundry Room
Convenience and functionality was key in this laundry room. The ceiling design detail has also been carried through the entire basement.
